Hello hello! I’m back from a long break and a trip up to Seattle. It’s been a busy few months and I can’t wait for things to settle down.
Speaking of settling down, I’ve been thinking of future plans. I moved from the city to a less populated (*ahem* less expensive) area in late 2020, so I’ve finally been able to think about saving up.
Did you know that if you live in the US, you can open a SEP-IRA? I didn’t! It’s a type of retirement account for business owners (that includes freelancers!) with higher contribution limits than a traditional IRA. I’m not a financial advisor and am wholly unqualified to give advice on these things, so here’s an article that someone else wrote with more information.
